The Birmingham Chapter of IFMA and Siemens present:

Building Energy and Operation Savings Now and Post-COVID-19

Buildings are the habitat for the modern human. With the disruption of daily routines by COVID-19, many commercial buildings have been left abandoned for weeks and could possibly continue for many more. The question that comes to mind for many businesses who are still receiving bills and expenses related to their buildings is ‘how are we operating our buildings now that they are not being inhabited by humans?’. In this presentation, Alexis Johnson with Siemens Smart Infrastructure will discuss opportunities for saving energy and operating costs in buildings with zero to low occupancy while stay-at-home restrictions are still in place, how to continue with energy savings when building occupancy begins to rise again, and emerging technologies to maintain high indoor environment quality and safety for building occupants.
